“We have been incredibly impressed with CheckMate Kids Chess Club and the positive impact it has had on our son. He has a fantastic time every week and has grown in both confidence and skill. Sam and Gabriel's enthusiasm and dedication ensures every child feels supported and encouraged to thrive. The biggest endorsement of all is that Finn absolutely loves it and can't wait to go back every week!”

  • Lina — mother of Jimmy, age 9.

"Jimmy thoroughly enjoys CheckMate Kids and is always excited to attend the sessions. The coaching is excellent, and we’ve seen a real improvement in both his chess ability and his strategic thinking. Sam is a brilliant coach—supportive, knowledgeable, and great with children. We couldn’t recommend CheckMate Kids highly enough."

  • Amar — father of Riaan, age 4.

“My 4 year old son has started chess classes with CheckMate Experiences, and we would highly recommend. Gabriel is an excellent coach. He is patient, able to adapt his teaching to different levels, and makes the classes engaging in small groups.”
