Yes — most of our practitioners hold a recurring slot. Tell us the day and time you'd like and how often, and we'll confirm what's available and hold it for you once your booking is agreed.
Slots are mainly mornings, evenings and weekends.
-
Get in touch with your preferred day/time, the type of session and rough numbers. We'll confirm availability, send a quote and our hire terms, and your slot is confirmed once a deposit is paid and the terms are signed.
-
Yes. All activity leaders must hold valid public liability insurance appropriate to their activity, and we'll ask to see proof before your first session. Our insurance covers the building and our own operations; it does not cover hirers' activities.
-
Yes, and we take this seriously. If you work with under-18s you're responsible for the safeguarding of the children attending your activity, including holding your own safeguarding policy and appropriate DBS checks for anyone working with them. We'll set out what we need from you as part of your agreement.
-
The room comes with chairs/tables available, AV (projector, screen, sound, etc.). You bring anything specific to your session — mats, props, equipment and materials. Let us know your set-up needs when you book and we'll make sure the room's ready.
We have storage facilities on sight if you want to keep equipment on site.
-
You bring and manage your own attendees — you keep 100% of what you charge them. That said, we're building a local community of members, and we'll happily help promote your sessions where we can with our networks, hotel guests and residents.
-
Cancellation terms are set out in the agreement we send. As a guide, deposits are non-refundable and notice periods apply, particularly for recurring blocks.

10% of every corporate booking goes back into the community — subsidising hire rates for local groups and funding bursary places for children to take part in activities in the space, from chess to drama and beyond. You can read more about our CheckMates Community Pledge here.
